At Sécra Shoes, we believe that style and comfort should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to ensuring that our digital environment is welcoming, inclusive, and provides a seamless experience for all customers, regardless of ability.

Our Commitment

We work to meet and maintain the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, a set of guidelines developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to ensure that web content is perceivable, operable, and understandable for people of all abilities. We view accessibility as an ongoing commitment, not a one-time project, and we actively remediate issues as they are identified.

Measures We Are Taking

We have adopted the following principles and practices to maintain our commitment to website accessibility:

Integrating Accessibility: We include accessibility as a key requirement in our design, development, and content creation processes.

Automated Weekly Auditing: We run automated accessibility audits on a weekly basis using axe, an industry-standard accessibility testing tool. Issues identified are reviewed and remediated as part of our regular development cycle, with a documented log maintained for each audit.

Independent Review: We engage EqualWeb, our accessibility platform provider, to audit and certify our accessibility implementation on a regular basis. We are committed to supplementing this with independent third-party audits to ensure our efforts are verified objectively.

Manual Testing: In addition to automated tooling, we conduct manual assessments to identify and address accessibility barriers that automated tools may not detect.

Always Learning: Our team maintains ongoing contact with professional accessibility providers to better understand and implement best practices as standards evolve.

Making Our Website Accessible to All

Our website is designed to assist people of all abilities, with special profiles designed to improve access for people experiencing blindness (including colour blindness and other vision difficulties), motor skills challenges, epilepsy, ADHD, learning difficulties, age-related challenges, or dyslexia. You can also customise the features of the website to suit your specific needs and preferences, by making adjustments to navigation, colour, content formatting, and cursor usability.

EqualWeb powers our accessibility interface. It is regularly tested to ensure it meets our expectations for accessibility as well as applicable legal standards.

Using the Accessibility Tool

Our Accessibility link can be found in the footer of every page. You can also open it directly using the button below:

Known Limitations

While we work diligently toward full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas of our site may not yet fully meet all criteria. We are committed to identifying and addressing these gaps through our ongoing audit and remediation process.

Some functionality on our site is provided by third-party platforms, including Okendo (customer reviews) and Gorgias (customer support and live chat). These components are outside our direct development control. Where possible, we configure these integrations to meet contrast, labelling, and keyboard navigation standards. We encourage you to contact us if you experience accessibility difficulties with any part of the site, including third-party features.
